We have supplied AP for use in aerospace, national defense programs and commercial applications for more than 40 years. We have been the exclusive manufacturer of AP in North America since 1998, when we acquired the AP business of Kerr-McGee Chemical Corporation.

AP is the leading oxidizing agent for solid propellant rockets, booster motors and missiles that are used in space exploration, commercial satellite transportation and national defense programs. A significant number of existing and planned space launch vehicles use a solid propellant and thus depend, at least in part, upon our AP.

WECCO is the anchor operation of AMPAC’s Utah Production Facility.
