American Pacific Corporation (AMPAC) was founded in Henderson, Nevada, US, in 1955 for the purpose of manufacturing specialty chemicals, principally oxidizers. Since then, our business has expanded to focus on our primary business segments: Specialty Chemicals, and Fine Chemicals. Our customers and product distribution now span most of the globe. Our corporate headquarters is located in Las Vegas, Nevada, US, and our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities are located in California, Texas, and Utah, US.

AMPAC supplies active pharmaceutical ingredients and advanced intermediates to the pharmaceutical industry. For the aerospace and defense industry we provide specialty chemicals used in solid rocket motors for space launch and military missiles. We produce clean agent chemicals for the fire protection industry, as well as electro-chemical equipment for the water treatment industry. Our products are designed to meet customer specifications and often must meet certain governmental and regulatory approvals.

Through technical and manufacturing expertise and a focus on customer service, AMPAC has achieved a reputation for quality, reliability, technical performance and innovation. Given the mission-critical nature of most of our products, we have established longstanding strategic customer relationships, and we work collaboratively with customers to develop customized solutions that meet rigorous US federal and international standards. Our products are generally sold through long-term contracts.
